Parents AOS no updates

Hi everyone,

Needed some insight.

Applied for parents being a US citizen. Got A number and went for fingerprinting on April 7, Its been more than 45 days and have not received updates from USCIS. Checked online case status and it is showing as accepted. Called the phone number and they don't know anything.

No interview letter has been received. Called again and they said I-485 applications have a wait of 6 months. But, I feel that wait list is employment based applications not for parents.

Any experiences and suggestions will be appreciated.

After Biometrics is completed, the combo card (Work Authorization and Advance Parole) arrive about 3 months later (if you also submitted I-765 and I-131 with the I-485 package). The actual Adjustment interview may not be set for 3-8 months after submittal of I-485 paperwork. The waiting period depends on workload of local USCIS office.

Thanks, but at some forums people say that they got it within 3 months.

That's what I just said, "...about 3 months later."

It's been about 45 days since you submitted the package, and you're already worried about something that doesn't show up for at least 3 months.
