We were asked to request and produce Police Clearance Certificate from Indian consulate in SFO.
Anyone have recent experience with getting the PCC from SF Indian consulate? How long does it take? If you have experience with getting it from a different consulate in the US, that info would also be useful.
Or else can we get it from India? All the info I see online about getting it from Regional Passport Office in India suggests making an appointment and going in person, police visiting your home etc. But since we are in the US how do we go about getting it from India? Can we send someone else to go to Passport office on our behalf?
