    Hello.

I have gone through everything to finally plan my life with my future wife and get here to the US. I am a green card holder (need 3 years to neutralize).

What I have come up with is the following.

    1. I apply for her and wait the processing time of F2A visa (2-3 years) which is very very sad.

    2. She applies for a student visa (BEFORE WE GET MARRIED) and come do her MBA (2 years) and work for 1 year after (She is allowed to work for a year after her MBA is done) so in total she'll be able to stay here for 3 years, by that time my neutralization will be due and I can apply for her to obtain the green card in a few months.

Did I miss anything during my research? how did anyone get his/her spouse to live with him/her in the US while i-130 is pending? it's just too frustrating to have your wife in a different country the first 3 years of the marriage, horrible..

Is there anything I did not think of? Tourist visa is not an option as she has a very strong career and 3 years of not working is just won't cut it for her.

    Thank you in advance

    DSQ,

Please explain your use of the term "neutralize," in reference to your Green Card status.

I think she can apply for student visa if she is in India.. So that she has the status to stay here
