I really need your help with I-130

Hi guys,
On the 3rd December 2013 I filled my I-130 for my wife as permanent resident to the Vermont Service center, it's been 8 months now and I still didn't get any notification or the Approval letter . is it normal or should I be worried? And please if there is any way to speed the process up let me know, I'm really worried...

Did you tried contacting the USCIS? I filled for my mother on February 11, 2014 ( to the Vermont office too) my I-130 was approved and I'm sending my AOS package to NVC tomorrow. You should call them.
