For the past 1.5 months I sent out all the forms that were needed to my attorney, which were forms i-130, i-485, and i-765. I called my attorney about my case and said that I am supposed to be getting the receipts, but I still haven't got anything. I kept goggling my question and realized that many people had received their receipts less than 2 weeks. I do not know if it is normal to wait more than 6 weeks? I am scared that my attorney did not sent out the paper work. Is anyone also the same situation as I am?

I was wondering how long does it take to receive a receipt notice from USCIS?

I made sure to write my own checks for concurrent filing so that you can get notification once checks are cashed. Yesterday, I sent EAD / AP renewal package which was delivered yesterday. Problem is I won't know if USCIS assigned case number until application received notice arrives in mailbox plus this time it was free filing due to AOS pending. Wish they atleast charged $20-30 so we know that check was cashed.
