Did you get the IV Fee yet? I have also paid my $88 and that has been almost a month ago and I have still not seen my IV fee yet. I am anxious to get it paid, but it seems rather slow. I am wondering how long yours has taken and if others are having quite a long delay with this step? Thanks!

Well it really is taking a while then. It has been a month for me now and if you sent yours off in July then it is really taking a while. It isn't a huge deal for me as I haven't gotten all the paperwork together for the IV packet anyway but I want to get my husband's background check soon and I am afraid if I get it too soon they will reject it if it is a month or two old and we are planning a trip to the USA soon and I want to take all the paperwork and mail it from there since it will arrive quicker and it is cheaper and less likely to get lost. I am just hoping that the fee comes in within the next month or so, so we can mail the packet after the fee is paid while in the USA. Ah! Timing! It is just one of those things, but still a bit annoying to have to wait so long for such a simple step. In the meantime, affidavit of support papers can be dealt with I suppose.

If you get your IV fee up soon can you let me know how long it took? Thank you!

Ok, I just called NVC and they told me that my IV bill is been generated (whatever that means) I should be getting my IV bill within a couple of days. I will let you know I soon as I receive it!!!

Aww that is wonderful news! It took around 1.5 months for you then. I am so glad you got it. Thank you for letting me know. I am hoping by or around the 1st week of October I will have mine then since then it will have been 1.5 months. THANK YOU!

I'm sooo sad, just called NVC and they told me my AOS was reviewed and I put my total gross income wrong! I'm using a 1040 form, what number should I put in??? And also I forgot page #3 how, oh how did I forget??? So, when i send it again, do I have to wait 60 more days?

If you are using the I-864, and your tax return was a 1040 (not 1040EZ), you must use the "Total Income" amount from your tax return form 1040, Line 22.

Update: on Oct 7th I sent an expedite request to NVC, called on Oct 10th and to my surprise, it was approved, they told me my case would be immediately send to my mothers home embassy, on Monday the 13th I called them and they said my case was in transit and on Tuesday the 14th it went from " in transit" to "ready". I'm so happy! Hoping for an email with interview date next week! My mother will be here before Christmas after all!!!
