Hello. I have a passport name mistake and wonder if it is of any consequence.
I am in the US and a citizen. I have filed a form I-130 for my daughter in India. My daughter's Indian passport has my name listed on the back page with a small spelling mistake. My daughter's name is spelled correctly in her passport. It is only my name in her passport that has an extra letter in it that shouldn't be there.
My name: Mariam Gonzalves
My daughter's Passport has my name spelled as: MarKiam Gonzalves.
My daughter's name is spelled correctly in her passport.
Will this be an issue since my name has an extra letter by mistake in her passport? Do I need an affidavit saying that this is just a mistake?
