I became a US citizen and I am asking my parents to become green card holders. My uncle made us the favor to fill out the form I-864 since I am not working for the moments just my spouse. However, my spouse is not part of this process and we sent to Immigration a letter explaining them the situation. And we mentioned that my uncle is the financial sponsor. We recently received a letter from Immigration stating that they need from me the I-864 form, which I will sign and send it. The only thing is that I don't have an employment and they want income tax returns which I sent and explained that those income numbers were from my spouse not me. I would really appreciate if you have any suggestions or advice....

You must be the primary sponsor, whether you have income or not. Your I-864 should report your spouse and his income, as a household member, and you should do a separate I-864A for your spouse, which both of you sign.
