Green card for parents through consular processing, question regarding biometrics

Hi,

I have filed green card for my parents through consular processing and they have interview appointment next month at US embassy New delhi. This appointment was scheduled by NVC. My question is that do they have to make bio metrics appointment before going to interview or the biometrics will be done at embassy at the time of interview. To take biometrics appointment , they will have to create profile at [ and fill out any forms? In general, before interview, what do they have to do besides getting medical reports?
