  • Applying for Green Card Help

    Hello,

I'm from Italy and I'm now on a OPT VISA in Los Angeles. My fiancee and I are getting married next week, and we wanted to file the papers to get the green card for me on our own since it would be expensive if done trough a lawyer.

What are the steps I have to do after the marriage? We got confused on the government website.. what do I need to file and send? Can I send them at the same time?

We just want to make sure we don't commit any mistakes. I would really appreciate your help.

You need to send $1,070 and $420, forms I-130, I-485, G-325A (each), I-131, I-765, and immigrant medical exam, with supporting documents, all to the Chicago Dropbox address on the USCIS website.
