petition for unmarried son or daughter over21 by a US citizen father

Hi! Im new in this forum. Id like to ask how long will it take for my case, unmarried daughter of a US citizen father? My petition was filed nov, 2013. Is it true that i may wait for about 10years? i checked on this site https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processingTimesDisplay.do, it says processing time frame is January 2014? what does it mean? does it mean that my case is ongoing process?

and my father told me that wait for the letter i guess for the verification of my address here in the philippines. does it mean there is available visa for me now?
please help me know the real processing time as of this year. thanks alot!

Your F1 Priority Date is probably around 11/**/2013. Priority Date for this visa class for Filipinos is now 9/1/04 or earlier, so you have about 9 more years of wait, assuming new Priority Dates are advanced on a month-by-month basis.

There will not be an address-confirming letter to you. If anything, the NVC will send you a letter when the petition is advanced to the NVC (National Visa Center), and the NVC letter will tell you that a visa slot is not yet available to you.

oh my! really it's true? 10yrs of waiting.
i checked my status online at uscis, it says document was returned and undeliverable. says i need to contact them as soon as possible for the prevention of case termination and filing a new one. i wonder what is that document they will send. i really dont have any idea. ive read a lot of blogs about the petition but its really confusing.

A petition of your brother by your father has nothing to do with your father or mother petitioning you. Those are separate issues, altogether.

Those are processing times for completion of USCIS petition review, but does not take into account additional waiting time at the National Visa Center (State Department) for an available visa slot based on Priority Date).
