asylum in Third Country while waiting for immigration to the US on F1 category

I have applied for asylum in Spain while waiting for my F1 immigration petition to become valid, am a Syrian citizen had to escape the violence and ask for asylum in another country... Would this affect my immigration petition? Should I notify the National Visa Center of my new address in Madrid, so they complete the process from here ? .. Please advise
