  • Second biometric appointment even if 1st one was Code 3

    Hello all!

First of, I gotta say thank you for the precious info I find on here, and for the quick responses I got to my previous problems each time.
My GC application has been a nightmare, as the USCIS has made a lot of mistakes: lose a check, reject my 765 for missing fee (even if the form was free), send an RFE that took 45 days to come to the mail (never heard back from the Service Request I filed, by the way), because things were missing from the co-sponsor even if there was no co-sponsor...

After all the crap I had to deal with and fix THEIR errors, here is a new one: I received a biometric appointment (Code 2, so I guess thumb print and picture) even though I already went to a biometric appointment 3 weeks ago and did it all (Code 3: all fingers, and picture).

The first appointment was for my I-485 and this one is for my I-765.

Since they had rejected my I-765 for no reason, it is probably being treated separately from the rest of my forms, hence the mix up. I suppose I have to go there and ask them to either redo my prints for the I-765, or sign it as "done". Or whatever they need to do.

My question is: all the rest of my forms are being processes and HOPEFULLY I will not get **** RFEs or rejections again. If I get my greencard interview, do I even need to care about my I-765?

Second question: Do I need to wait for the date, or can I go tomorrow early? I am ready to get this over with once and for all. I live in Brooklyn.

Thanks a ton guys! Ready to explode over here.
