How long does uscis take to process application?

I have submitted my application of I485, 130, 693 etc two weeks ago and I just noticed my check was cashed last weekend. But I still didn't receive email or text message of the receipt or anything from them yet. My job offer starts in mid Feb and I really need EAD card to start working. Do you think it's normal for uscis take this long before sending my a notification? And since there will be Christmas and new year coming so, is it possible that I can still get my EAD before mid Feb?

Two weeks is nothing, especially out of which one week was for Thanksgiving holidays.

Did you include the G-1145 with your package for email/text notification of form receipts?

Did you include the G-1145 with your package for email/text notification of form receipts?

Yes I did. I saw from the tracker on this forum that lots of people received the receipt before the check being cashed, thats why it got me worried if they have seen my g-1145. I put it right after my cover letter...

It probably doesn't make a difference, but the G-1145 is supposed to be on top of everything else, paperclipped for easy access and removal.
