Should I submit original birth certificate affidavits for GC processing ?

I am filing GC for my parents. Both of them do not have birth certificates, so we are getting affidavits for Birth certificates from India. Do I need to submit original affidavits or photocopy will work ? Thanks in advance.

Submit photocopies with your petition submittal, but have originals at interview.
