Travelling to US once I-130 Approved

Hi all! My parents were recently approved for their I-130 Green Card Petition. They still reside abroad and are waiting to hear from NVP. My mother would like to come visit in the US for one week: would this be an issue with immigration at the border if she uses a tourist visa? Would they challenge her at the border? Thanks for your help!!!!

Since your parents have an immigrant petition in process, they might not be allowed entry because of having expressed "intent to immigrate." Have they applied for visitor visas yet?

Thanks for your reply. She hasn't applied for a tourist visa yet. So you would suggest to avoid travelling in the US during that time?

It's a moot point until you know whether they have visitor visas or not.
