  • Parents' green card

    Hi,

I want to apply GC for my parents. I read that I should submit I-130 is my parents are outside USA. Is there any other documentation required ?
Can someone pls guide me what will be stages (including details about NVC process) for GC application and which documents me and my parents will need to submit ?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks !!

Do this one step at a time.

Start with submitting to USCIS the following:
    1. I-130, petition, for each parent
    2. $420 submittal fee to "U.S. Department of Homeland Security"
    3. Proof of your U.S. citizenship
    4. Include copies of your birth cert, your parent's birth cert, marriage cert, English translations of any documents not i English
    5. Other evidence of relationship (baptism, church, school and medical documents, photos of you together with parents)

The submittal address (Phoenix or Chicago) will depend on your present location.
