    Hello,

My USC husband has filed for my cr1 visa. I got case complete a few weeks ago. I am just waiting on my interview date. I applied for a tourist visa in 2011 and was denied. I was told; I was not qualified for a visa at this time. I didnot submit any documents to the CO. However, I lied and said I had a child when I don't have one and I also lied about my employment information. I said I was working somewhere when I wasnot. I had the assistance from a visa fixer who convinced me that this will improve my chances of getting a visa. Well, I have told the truth on my present visa application about all things. But, I am so worried that my previous visa application will b reviewed and they could find out that I lied before. And, could this result in my visa being denied? I am just so worried about this day/ night... Do you think it will come up during my interview?

Nobody can tell you for certainty what will be brought up during your Embassy interview. Don't volunteer any explanation unless asked very specific questions.

You can gain nothing by berating yourself and depressed. Anyways, you can't change the past so, think of how can you improve your chances.

Be sure and remember what exactly you filled in the application form this time and answer the same when asked.

Give specific, brief and straight answers than unnecessary elaborations.

If you encountered with the question why you lied in the last interview, answer genuinely that how you had mislead by the consultant and they are aware of that few genuine people forcefully lies because of them.

Above all, leave your worries a side and focus on interview. You can do better with peace of mind so stay cool and happy but, prepare well, perform good and leave result to God.

        All the best.

Don't forget to share your experience.

This is my opinion, not a legal advice.
