Sponsoring son of 24 for Green Card

We have just received our green cards. Our son of 24 has just completed his LL.B. degree in South Africa and has now joined us in the US on a B1/B2 visa. Is it possible for us to sponsor him for his Green Card? Should he wish to further his studies, how should he/we go about in making this happen?

Since you are not U.S. citizens, you may petition your child with an I-130 form, but you cannot continue with his Adjustment of Status until his visa quota slot is available, probably in 7 years or longer.
