  • Help! I-864!!!

please help me, please please please, I am stuck at form I-864.
    I am a US citize.
I am filing green car app for my mother who is in the US. legal. on waiver visa.
I have no income, but my name is on my husband taxes.
    1) What do I put on PART 6 (sponsors income and employment) ZERO?
    2) I fill out part 7 (USE OF ASSETS TO SUPPLEMENT INCOME) put my husband' name and have him fill out form 864A.

    Is the above correct?
PLEASE HELP ME! I AM PETITIONING FOR MY MOTHER AND DONT WANT MY HUSBAND TO PAY FOR A LAWYER ... I READ A LOT ABOUT ALL THE FORMS BUT 864 IS SO CONFUSING!

      1. Sponser's Income is Zero and self employed as HOUSEWIFE.
in 6a of Part 6, fill in your husband's name and income.

      2. Fill in All the assets you and your husband owns.

Your husband need to sign 864A.

      Thanks

        Thanks!!!
I can really put self employed as a housewife? wont they get mad thinking I am joking?

Also, my husband shouldnt fill another I-864 instead of the I-864A? because he is a joint sponsor as his is part of my household ...
        Thanks so much.
