Hi,
My daughter has her IV interview scheduled for this Friday at the US embassy in London (she is applying for a Greencard under 'Follow to Join' - me being a permenant resident already).
She has visited the required Knightsbridge doctors but due to various amounts of confusion between different doctors (her own and Knightsbridge doctors), she has not yet completed all the required vaccinations and will not be able to have them all done until after this Friday. The nurse at the Knightsbridge doctors said that she should still attend her interview on Friday and the embassy will just complete the visa processing once they've received the required medical information.
Does this sound like the best thing to do? From what I've read it sounds like they may issue her with a form 221g (Visa temporarily refused pending ....). I have also read a few things saying the embassy will not even schedule interviews until after they've received the medical results - but as she already has the interview date, maybe this isn't an issue? Or should she reschedule (and if so, is it likely to delay the process by the 'several months' I've seen listed) ?
Anyone have any experience of this sort of thing?
Steve
