I have a friend, whom I helped filling out papers when he married, and he has asked me for help again, so I thought I try asking a question here first.
When younger, his mother made a petition for him. She is a U.S. citizen, he was not married, but was over 21 years of age. He was in the U.S. out of status at the time.
He has since married, and is renewing his green card at the moment, but coincidentally, has received a letter from the national visa center about his process, through his mother.
My believe is that his visa has become available.
The letter doesn't say much, only that he needs to send some information and some documents.
What does he need to do?
