i130 approved shall i get an agent now? DS261

I am a USA citizen. Yesterday my husband i130 was approved and case was sent to NVC. Do i have to get an agent for the rest of the process or is it fairly easy to go through remaining process? i got no clue....... do i have to get a lawyer to become agent? what exactly they are asking agent for? Thank You

There are no special requirements for going on record as the "agent" for the NVC. It is just a person who can receive mail related to the case. The agent should be someone in the U.S. to insure that NVC mail is received in a timely manner.
