    After geeting GC what happens to existing H1-B status

    I am currently on H1-B visa. I have my interview for marriage based GC next month. I have also applied for EAD which I am waiting for. Once I get this EAD what have to be done from my side. I mean do I need to tell the HR people in my company that this is my EAD and they will work it out or I do not need to do anything ?

    Please let em know.
