Respected Sir,
I would like to inform you that the birth date and time mentioned is 7th March, 1956 and 2.00 a.m. respectively in the birth certificate issued by Vadodara Municipal Corporation.
Unfortunately, my all official records including School leaving certificate, 11th (old S.S.C. Board exam.) mark sheet, Passport, PAN No. Driving License, Voters card etc. show 6th March, 1956 as my birth date.
I am unaware about the fact as my both parents have expired 4-5 years before.
I understand that this mistake would have happened, as before 50-60 years, Indians were not aware of the date and time calculation formula and therefore my late parents would have considered my birth at night on 6th March, 1956 instead of early morning on 7th March, 1956, as the birth time is 2.00 a.m.
I will highly appreciate, if you will advise me the procedure to resolve this dilemma before filing I 485 for USA Green card.
Thanking you,
Bharat Gandhi
