  • Any self-employed Beneficiaries here?

I wrote another thread mentioning this, but it was long and messy. I'll make this much shorter.

As a self-employed spouse of a US citizen, what documents would be essential to present to prove that my income comes from a lawful source and will continue? We are including me on the affidavit of support since my spouse does not currently meet the income requirement, yet he will start working very soon. He just moved back to the US after staying with me in my home country on a residence permit.

    What my current plan is:

I have procured a letter from my one, constant (big company, global) client where they describe my work relationship with them and that it is stable and will continue (I can work anywhere from my computer). Should I do my best to get this notarized in some way, maybe get someone higher up in the company to sign it? It has the signature of my editor and direct contact information should the reader need to verify the content.

I am also planning on including 5-10 or more detailed invoice payment receipts from this client (translated to English?), from my bank online, going back maybe 6 months. I'm thinking I will skip bringing bank statement papers, since they will show 96% purchases, bills paid, etc.

    Any thoughts?
