Question about form I 765

Hi!
I am a student on f1 visa. I have recently got married to a us citizen (born in the US) and we are applying for my green card. I am currently working at the university on my visa and still have 1.5 year left of my studies. My question is: do i still need to fill out form i765? I think our process will be finished before I graduate and I do not need to work off campus during the time we are waiting for the greencard. Thank you.

Include the I-765 with your I-485 Adjustment submittal. There is no extra cost, and the EAD, from the I-765, provide you some interim benefit until the Green Card is issued.
