  • F4 family based question

My brother in law petitioned my husband -- F4 category. The petition was approved August 2005. My questions are the following:

    (1) i believe the petition was filed when my husband is still single, how are we going to include my name and my son to the petition.

    (2) how are we going to know the priority date? We were told 1998 when his brother filed the petition but we don't know the exact date.

The petitioner needs to notify the National Visa Center of the spouse and child being added as eligible derivative visa applicants.

The Priority Date will be on both USCIS Notices of Action and some of the National Visa Center correspondence to petitioner or to your husband.

If the Priority Date was in 1998, and the time frames are 12 - 23 years for F4, your remaining wait time depends on your country. What is the country of the applicant?
