    can a beneficiary sponsor himself?

    My wife is a LPR. We are waiting for a welcome notice from NVC (pd: 28feb2014). I am currently in F1 visa here in states. I work at college and make $12,000/yr. We filed our taxes together twice already. Can I show my income along with hers while filling out affidavit of support?
    Any response is appreciated. Thank you
