  • F4 Visa Birth Certificate Accuracy

    Dear Forumers,
My Sister is applying for our F4 visa( Am her younger brother).
According to USCIS both of us need to submit our Birth certificates showing having at least one common parents.
    My Question is:
We have same biological parents. Our Mothers name has been identical in both of our BC. But I am just missing a single letter of my Dads name. As per the USCIS requirements just the Mothers name showing one common parent should be enough to go ahead? Unfortunately our father is not alive and we dont have his BC as well.
    Please shed some light.

Are both (your's and your sister's) birth certificate issued in English. If one of the certificate is not in english, you can get it translated with correct name spelling on the translated version. And What is difference in name? a vowel or other letter.

    Thanks

      Thanks for your comments Dhira,
Both our BC"s are in English. They have added an letter "h" to my Fathers name in my BC and this is not in my sisters case(Fathers name is spelled right in her BC) but i guess according to USCIS any one common parent evidence should be enough to show proof?
      Please let me know forumers.
