  • I-864 Question HELP

Filling out the affidavit of support and need some help.

part 4 #3a "sponsors place of residence", if I am temporarily outside USA visiting my husband since jan, do I put my permanent USA address or my husbands address where I am currently living?

Also if i put USA as my mailing and residence will I still need to prove Domicile? since I am not in usa right now.

Use your U.S address on all documents, so long as you can receive mail at that address.

little bit confused about the I-864

      hell every one.
i'm a U.S citizen by birth and i'm asking about the affidavit of support that i should fill for my husband and my under 18 child..i live outside of the united states since i was 3 years old but my father is also a U.S citizen and still living in the U.S and and i am going to take them with me to live in US...now the question is i'm a housewife and as i said i'm residing outside the US in my husband's country (Egypt) so i do not have any U.S. federal income tax return so i need help what should i do with that AOS and what is the documents that i should submit to make them eligible?? for your information my father can be the joint sponsor .

i hope any one can help me in my case .
      thanks in advance.

After your I-130 petitions for each (husband and child, if child has not claimed U.S. citizenship) are approved and reach the National Visa Center, you will have to prepare an I-864, Affidavit of Support, as the primary sponsor (even without income or tax return), and your father will prepare a separate I-864 as a joint sponsor

I received the same message for an IR5 visa category and I am filling out new I-864 forms to be sent to the applicant to take along. Can someone pls help with what info should go to page 3, # 11 of the I-864A form? Is it our combined household income as reported on our joint tax returns or only the household member's portion of the total income.

              Hello,
I have a question about question 13.a.1 of the I-864 affidavit of support. Should it be our total income from line 22 or line 37 of our 1040 tax returns? Thank you for your help.
