So when we filed our I-485, we actually filed two I-864, one for my wife, and another for our joint sponsor. Essentially, I got an RFE on this but some things have changed since we submitted the application.
1. When we filed, my wife was unemployed. My wife got a job recently paying $30500, which is well above the poverty levels for us two, but she had an income of $7600 last year (2014). Do we still need a joint sponsor? Or is this employment enough now if we send them a letter of employment?
2. For my joint sponsor, would our household size be 2 or 3? In other words, when joint sponsoring, is he sponsoring just me or me AND my wife?
3. My joint sponsor is currently not working. He will only start working again in July, but he made enough last year to sponsor me ($31000). He will be making close to triple that soon, but again, only once he starts working. Is this an issue?
