Need Direction to fill out Joint sponsor I-864 and filing out I-864A

Hello Everyone ,

First of all thank you in advance to all ,

I have below scenario in my case :

My Wife is US citizen and i am on H1B , She Can't sponsor me for green card visa as her income is below poverty line for the year . I am earning sufficient myself . One of my friend (XYZ) agrees to be a joint sponsor for me as he earns enough to sponsor me . He is on green card and his wife (ABC) is US citizen . She is not working this year ,she is a housewife now a days .

Question 1: Does my wife needs to fill out her own I-864 ?

Question 2: What are the form needs to fill out by My Friend (XYZ ) and her wife (ABC) ? I-864 ? or I-864A ? or Both ? please direct me briefly here .( confusion part for me )

Question 3 : Does my role in that any form to fill ?

Question 4: They are planning to invite his parents from India this year , Does that effects any negative for him for any reason ?
End of the year when he files tax return does he need to include me as a house hold ?

Does he consider that He is fulfilling his earning for 3 person ? does his all wages need to consider me in tax return ?

If they sponsor their parents does that will count him 5 person responsibility for his earning at end of the year ?

Please advice me here , any direction here will be great-full !!!

YES, BECAUSE YOUR WIFE IS STILL CONSIDERED PRIMARY SPONSOR.

YOUR FRIEND NEEDS TO PROVIDE AN I-864, AND AN I-864A FROM HIS WIFE, IF THEY FILE AS MARRIED/JOINT TAX RETURN..

IF YOU ARE LEGALLY ABLE TO WORK, YOU CAN PROVIDE AN I-864A AS COMPANION TO YOUR WIFE'S I-864.

BY SPONSORING YOU, YOU ARE ONLY CONNECTED TO YOUR FRIEND IF HE SPONSOR'S ANYONE ELSE, AND YOU WOULD THEN BE REPORTED ON ANY SPONSORSHIP DOCS AS BEING INCLUDED IN HIS SPONSORSHIP LIABILITY ALREADY.

YES, YOU, YOUR FRIEND AND HIS WIFE ARE COMPUTED TOGETHER FOR ANY SPONSORSHIP DOCUMENTS. BUT YOU ARE NOT INLCUDED IN HIS INCOME TAX RETURN.

HE YOUR FRIEND SUBMITS I-864 OR I-134 FOR EITHER PARENT, YOU MUST BE COUNTED AS A 'HOUSEHOLD MEMBER' SPONSORED-PERSON.

Appreciated your help on below question !!

Still have doubt as i discussed with my friends and they both had joint sponsorship for their green card file .

In their case his wife's father sponsored him and they fill out I-864 (from his wife) and his father's detail in the same form as well they added I-864A (his Father's detail )

they both got approved without any RFE . may their case is different or so or may be same household ? or lawyer did some tricks . not sure but i am confused here .


Question : So in my case as per below should my wife will fill out I-864 and mine I-864A
And My friends separate I-864 and his wife's I-864A ??

So i will end up with number of two I-864 and number of two I-864A ???? total 4 forms need to be complete correct ?


Please correct me here in case to avoid confusion !!!
