    Hi

I applied I-130 and just got approved.

My sponsor (wife, US citizen) does not have any ties to US, hence don't meet the domicile requirement yet. I have 2 questions:

    1. By when do I have to apply & go for the interview with domicile and financial requirements
    2. My wife cannot go to US without us (we have kids), hence what is the best way to meet domicile requirement?

    Thank you

If the petitioner doesn't return to the US, the applicant most likely wont get visa. You will start the financial requirements once your case is at NVC. It takes few days to get your case number. Pay the fees on NVC site and start the process after receiving case number from nvc.

Yes it's possible to get immigrant visa but we have to prove Domicile/connection to US. Hence my question, what is the best way to meet domicile requirement? Specially since we have kids and my wife (US citizen/petitioner) cannot leave the kids and go to US.

      Thank you

This is from the instructions form for Affidavit of Support:

If you intend in good faith to reestablish your domicile in the United States no later than the date of the intending
immigrant's admission or adjustment of status.

You must submit proof that you have taken concrete steps to establish that you will be domiciled in the United States
at a time no later than the date of the intending immigrant's admission or adjustment of status. Concrete steps might
include accepting a job in the United States, signing a lease or purchasing a residence in the United States, or
registering children in U.S. schools. Please attach proof of the steps you have taken to establish domicile as described
        above.
