Does my sponsor (spouse) need to be working at the moment of the interview I-485?

Hi my name is David, I’m in the process to get my residence using the adjustment of status (485) based on a family member, and we are still waiting for the date of the interview, we sent our papers in November of last year (2014). My wife is thinking of leaving her job, I’m currently unemployed and my wife will do at the moment of the interview, do those factors affect in the eligibility of a GC in the moment of the interview?
