does NVC send a 60 day letter?

I submitted my DS-260 and supporting documents via email on April 6 and haven't yet heard a thing from the NVC (it is now April 15). Do they usually send correspondence confirming the receipt of documents? I've tried calling them everyday but of course it's impossible to get through.

They do send you confirmation email that they received the docs and give them 60 days to review them. If you want to call them you have to keep redialing number. Sometimes it takes more than 5 mins of redialing then 40+ mins hold times.
