Missed Biometrics..what now?

Hello everyone!

I'm in the process of renewing my DACA and right now all I need to do is get my biometrics done. The problem is that I missed the scheduled date for my biometrics and so I sent back the paper that had a little box that I check marked to let them know that I need to reschedule my appointment. It's been almost a month and they still have not notified me of when my new appointment will be. What should I do? I've tried calling USCIS many times and all they told me was to wait until they sent me another letter telling me when my appointment is. The thing is I really can't wait because my current DACA card has already expired. Thanks for your time in advanced.

try making a info pass appointment and visit your local USCIS office.

Hi,

Info pass is good option for scheduling but you can also try walk in biometric in the local office on the original notification of biometric appointment. I know many people got lucky with walk ins so it's worth of trying.

That's exactly what I was about to tell you. Instead of asking for a new date, you should have just walk in, explain your situation, I have no doubt they would have allowed u to go in. With so many days passed, I'm not sure what they will do, but it's still worth trying. You never know. Just go and explain yourself. Nothing beats a trial but a failure.
