Hello Everyone! ^_^
I just wanted to for help in this matter and I hope someone could answer this.
I am a derivative beneficiary. My mother was petition by my U.S citizen grandmother. In my mother's birth certificate, we just noticed that her gender is written as male. We filed for a "change of gender" for the error last year at the city hall where my mother was born, and we are still waiting for the results and the change birth certificate.
We received a letter from NVC on April 9, 2015 that they are still going to review our papers and we have to wait after 60 days. My question is, in case we are schedule for an interview and we still did not receive my mother's new birth certificate, what other documents should we bring to the interview in case they noticed the mistake in the birth certificate? My mother doesn't have an immunization record. But she has a baptismal certificate....
