Hi everyone!
I hope someone can answer this other question that I have!
My mother is petition by my U.S Citizen grandmother.
Priority Date is August 4, 2004.
Visa became available on October 1, 2014.
I was listed as the beneficiary when my grandmother submitted the papers.
I had my son around June 4, 2013. So he was not listed in the papers.
Is my son eligible to become a derivative beneficiary?
I'm not married. Although my son uses his father's last name in his Philippine passport but he uses my last name in his japanese passport. (He's a dual-citizen)
Also, I have another question.
When I filled up my DS-260 online form. I wrote in my son's Given Name as "First name and then my last name" and then in his surname I wrote his father's last name. My question is, will it be a problem coz I included my last name in his given name. I included my last name in his given name because they might question why his surname is different from mine.
I hope someone can answer this question! ^_^
