Hi
I am green card holder applying for my wife. Can my brother in law file I-864 (sponsor) for my spouse. He is a us citizen and qualified(financial) for sponsorship.
Or do I have to file I-864 and he should be the co-sponsor.

When your wife's Priority Date becomes current and the package is at the NVC, you must submit the primary sponsor I-864. Your brother can be a co-sponsor with his separate I-864 inclusion with your sponsorship package.
