not ready to move to US yet but have received immigrant visa

hi. i am currently a permanent resident of canada and have recently received my immigrant visa to the US. I have a great job in canada which i cannot afford to lose right now and i am not ready to move to US just yet.
next week, i will be going on vacation to US and will be using my immigrant visa. will that create a problem if they know that i will leave US after 3 days and be back there again for training in January? would anyone please help to explain to me how it works?

You have 6 months to enter on immigrant visa, from the date of issue.
