hello,
I have a question for you guys and need your help
my brother who is a U.S citizen had filed an i-130 for my sister who is older than 21 back in 2010 and it was approved and now pending. my sister is not expecting to hear from them at least 8/9 years from now..anyway in 2011( after having i-130 filed for her), she applied for a tourist visa and they gave her 3 years visa, during these 3 years she came to the U.S twice and never violated her stay period.this month after having her visa expired almost a year ago, she decided to re-apply for another visa but was denied before even checking her documents, the thing is they didn't even stamp her passport with b214? or whatever that means denied, and they told her she can't have a visa because her i-130 is filed for her and she has to wait
bear on mind she has her own business (economic ties), single and all of her siblings live here in the U.S including me and she doesn't get to see all of us.
my question is...in 2011 she had i-130 filed for her but still given a visa? why is this time different?
is there a new law or something
my second question, if my sister gets married, does her marriage automatically stop the i-130 process?
thanks
