I need advise please help. My husband is at Case Complete, waiting for an interview date. He has an outstanding warrant, since 1993 in Mineola Long Island for a small amount if cocaine. He was not convicted of this crime. We have a criminal attorney, awaiting his return to the USA. Once he gets here he will be able to represent him and the case should be dismissed. Please advise will they grant him a visa or green card, to renter the US to deal with this outstanding warrant? He has no other outstanding charged. He is in Jamaica awaiting the interview date. I am a US citizen and we have two UD born children. Ages 13 and 8.

Immigration cases involving criminal aliens always turn out to be more complicated than they first appear. These situations don't lend themselves to the D-I-Y approach.
Your husband will need to take certified copies of arrest records, charging documents, and court disposition to the interview.
The consular officer will let him know the various grounds of inadmissibility that apply to him, if any.
An immigration attorney who specializes in drug cases can ask your husband the invasive and rude questions needed to probe for vulnerabilities in his case. You would then be better prepared for the possible outcomes of the consular interview, and have a game plan ready.
