Hi,
I am applying I-130 for my sister. She is married now and has changed her last name. I-130 instructions say that i need to furnish her marriage certificate if her name has changed. Now, her name on her marriage certificate is her maiden name (before marriage). Is this the normal thing? What should I submit as a proof of legal name change?
As an fyi, I am attaching affidavit from my mother stating that she gave birth to me and my sister, and that my sister's name was changed after marriage.
