I received a letter from USCIS stated that my husband's income on Federal income tax return does not meet or exceed 125% poverty guideline. Household size is 3 on the chart is $25,112 meanwhile my husband's income over $30,000. They asked to send the evidence like W2, Bank Statement, etc. Don't have problem with that. My question is, with that letter, they attached I-485 Supplement A form, which is I read it on USCIS website and on that form, saying that if I apply to adjust my status as a spouse and entered US legally, I don't need to file that form. Why they sent me that form? Hope someone could help me with this. I'm so confused.

Supplement A and the additional $1,000 fine is for adjustment applications under INA245(i). This provision waives the usual prerequisites for adjustment, such as lawful admission. This benefit is only available to alien beneficiaries of relative or employee petitions that were filed before April 30th 2001.
I don't think it applies in Jeanette's case.

That's why so confusing. What do you think I should do with the form. And its really unprofessional when you see the letter they sent.. the request letter on the bottom stated page 1/2 and 2/2.. but because they attached the supplement A form.. they crossed the pages number to 1/4 to 4/4 with handwriting..
