I485 & I94 questions

I'm US Citizen and applied I-130 for my MOM who is in US on 10 years Visitor VISA with I-94 expires on Feb 25, 2006. I-130 got approved. Waiting to gather all documents to apply for I-485 adjustment of status. Its going to take long time to get Birth Certificate and Police Clearance Certificates.

Here are my questions:

1. Do i need to apply for I-94 extension
a). If i apply for I-485 before I-94 expires?
b). If i'm not able to apply for I-485 because of all documents not available by that i-94 expiry date?

2. Can i apply for I-485 without Birth and Police Clearance letters and send them later when i get them? If yes, Do i still need to apply for I-94 extension?

Experts... Please help by answering these questions.

You need her to be in valid B2 status until you file I-485. Therefore, apply for extension. https://www.immihelp.com/visitors-visa-extension/

You can't file I-485 until you have all the documents. If you do, it will be returned.
