My aunt filed visa for my dad on 22 November 2004. Seeing the current trends, our processing is expected to be done by 2017. At that point I will be 26. Is there any chance I can go with my parents provided I am unmarried ?

I was 13 years old when petition was filed. There is something like, my father will have to file for me F2B visa on his approval and I will get same priority date as earlier and in this way I can go in minimum time with them. Something related to Child Protection Act.

Is it so ? Somebody benefited by it ?
If I am doing PhD by that time, will it hinder the chances ?
