This is my case and i would appreciate if you can give me as detailed an answer as possible.
i came to US in 1994 as student and stayed on after due to subsequent employment. i had a valid H1B till 2003 when it ran out. Due to personal relationship reasons i stayed on after that and basically been out of status since then. but now i'm getting married to the american citizen. my question is more on the exact process, paperworks wise immediately after marriage, which i expect to happen within a month. and a rough timeline on when i can actually expect to travel outside which is kind of important. by the way i reside in southern california.
please give me the best scenario and i know that each case is unique.
