My mother's sister sponsored our family immigration of our family in 2002 , My mother, father and sister who is under 21 got their visa in 2014. I reached the age of 21 during the process and my family when applying for visa did not apply for me thinking that I am now above 21 but when person at consulate during interview told my parents that even if he is 21 you shall apply.
They have received their green cards and are in U.S now but when I queried about my case I got following reply from consulate.
" The subject immigrant visa case does not indicate furqan as a qualified family member for the immigration visa. He is over 21 years of age. In addition to this, your family did not seek a visa for him while this case was in for processing. Why do you now seek a status for him."
What do you think happened with my case ? and what can I do from here onwards ?
