Dear Moderator,
I work in IT on H1B valid till 2018. My.My company has agreed to file the green card in EB2 category, which takes around 7-8 yrs to complete.
My sister in law is a citizen of US and wants to sponsor the family based immigration F4 category for my wife(as a sister) , who is on H4.
The questions I have are :
Once she files the immigration petition I-130 , Can my wife stay on H4 status in US?
When my company files for a GC under EB2 category , my wife's green card will also be a part of the same process.Can it cause any conflict between 2 petitions.
I-130 takes more than 15 years , in that case if my Employment based green card is released before the family , Do we have to cancel that petition?
I will appreciate your help, if you can clarify these queries.
